The Advanced Materials Show – what to expect

The Advanced Materials Show will be coming to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from the 29th-30th June 2022.

The Advanced Materials Show will be sharing the exhibition space with Ceramics UK, the Battery Cells & Systems Expo and the Vehicle Electrification Expo, providing a perfect opportunity for tradespeople and professionals from across all four sectors to congregate and network.

Tickets

Tickets are free, and you can register for them here. Your registration is valid for the duration of the two-day event and will give you access to the Advanced Materials Show, Ceramics UK, Battery Cells & Systems Expo and the Vehicle Electrification Expo, as well as a four-track, free conference. The show preview document estimates that in excess of 4,000 visitors are expected to attend the event.

The shows

The Advanced Materials Show & Ceramics UK, The Advanced Materials Show and Ceramics UK two-track Conference will be held in Hall 18 of the NEC and the Battery Cells & Systems Expo and the Vehicle Electrification Expo two-track Conference will be held in Hall 17 of the NEC.

The events

In the show features area, four different events will be taking place throughout the two days, including conferences, drinks receptions, and graphene roundtables: an exclusive opportunity to sit down with peers and experts to discuss barriers and opportunities in these sectors.

The conferences will cover topics from mitigating carbon emissions to polymer application requirements and material innovations. Featured speakers at the conference sessions include Alan Banks, UK Lightweight Innovations Manager at Ford, Dr Laura Baker, Head of Product Development at Tata Steel, and more. The Advanced Materials Show will be open for visitors to attend from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM on Thursday. Parking spaces are available at the NEC for a cashless charge; you can pre-book your parking or pay on the day.

In addition to the shows, exhibitions, and conferences, there will also be access to a B2B Meeting Area, a Networking Lounge and a VIP Lounge, as well as the opportunity for visitors to purchase food and drink in exhibition halls 17 and 18.
